The Chesapeake Bay Watershed is approximately 200 miles long. Its width ranges from 3.4 miles to 35 miles wide and it is fed by 50 major tributaries. This body of water extends from Havre de Grace, Maryland to Norfolk, Virginia and is approximately 200 miles long.

Who is BoatToBrunch.com?
My name is George and I moved to Maryland in 2015. At the time I had very little knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay or the culture of the area. To those who may not know, many locals spend their weekends, evenings, and earn their living on the bay. It is important to understand the bay to understand the local lifestyle.
I decided a great way to explore the bay and experience the way of life of the Chesapeake would be by water. I restored a boat in the Summer of 2016 and headed into the bay. The first few trips were rewarding but I needed a destination.
Looking for a boating destination is what brought about BoatToBrunch.com. I could not find an online resource of boat accessible bars and restaurants. I began to explore the bay in great detail and collect information. That information is consolidated and displayed on this site. Hopefully, this index of water accessible bars, restaurants, and marinas will be a helpful resource to others.
